Guillaume Dulude

Doctor of Psychology | Founder of Psycom | Best-selling author | International speaker

Guillaume Dulude, Ph.D., is the founder of Psycom. He specializes in and teaches the psychology of human relationships, interpersonal communication and leadership development. A best-selling author, international speaker, producer and TV host, Guillaume popularizes science and makes psychology accessible to the general public through his books and specialized training courses.
He holds a doctorate in research psychology (PhD) and clinical psychology (Psyd) from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). His thesis research focuses on cognitive processes, attentional systems and consciousness.

Guillaume is as passionate about the theories and foundations of human development as he is about putting them into practice. He stands out not only for his innovative concepts and teachings, but also for his practical demonstration of communication strategies in all environments, types of relationships and socio-cultural contexts. Guillaume works to demonstrate what humans have in common, not what divides them.
He hosts the documentary series Tribal, broadcast on TV5 Monde. This program, which he co-directed, received two nominations at the 35th Gala des Prix Gémeaux (2020) in the categories of Best Documentary Series (Society) and Best Photography Direction (Public Affairs, Documentary Series).

Guillaume appears as a guest specialist on numerous Quebec radio and TV shows (Tout le monde en parle, Demain tout est possible, Dessine-moi un dimanche, etc.). He has appeared every Monday alongside Marie-Claude Barrette on TVA’s Deux filles le matin, then à Marie-Claude. In the summer of 2021, Guillaume will co-host the radio program Ni noir ni blanc on 98.5FM.

Guillaume’s book, Je suis un chercheur d’or, is published in 2020 by Éditions de l’Homme and is a bestseller in Quebec, receiving the Coup de cœur des librairies Renaud-Bray award. The book, which is also available in paperback and audiobook formats, is a guide to the mechanisms of communication and human relations, shedding new light on the meaning of relationships and interpersonal communication.

In 2023, Guillaume Dulude founded the International Day of Courage and Individual Responsibility. For the occasion, he organizes and hosts the first Y Event at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. Some 5,000 people attend this large-scale conference, which teaches psychological strategies for, among other things, overcoming stagnation, making the right decisions, moving forward to the next chapter of one’s life and finding meaning in it. With the proceeds from ticket sales, Guillaume raises over $100,000, which he donates to three Quebec high schools to encourage young people to pursue their quest for meaning through individual responsibility.
