The most important psychology event ever!
AWAKEN YOUR PASSIONS
DISCOVER YOUR COURAGE AIM HIGHER
Welcome to the 2nd International Day of Courage and Personal Responsibility.
The letter “Y” symbolizes a crossroads where we must choose the right path. The 2 branches of the Y are characterized by distinct psychological processes. The right-hand branch represents stagnation and powerlessness, while the left-hand branch embodies movement and growth.
The Y 2024 EVENT is a large-scale conference designed to show you how to stay on your “left branch” by rediscovering your passions. The aim is to help you break stagnation, move in the right direction, make good decisions, develop your passions and persevere in the face of adversity. Join us for an inspiring and transformative seminar where we will explore together the power of passion and courage to persevere and reach new heights.
We’ll be honored to welcome tennis legend SERENA WILLIAMS and Canadian astronaut CHRIS HADFIELD. The event will be hosted by our Master of Ceremonies ANTHONY KAVANAGH. The bilingual (French/English) event will be simultaneously subtitled.
With Y EVENT , we’re celebrating the International Day of Courage and Personal Responsibility for a second year, and 100% of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Quebec high schools on the day of the event.
Last year, more than $100,000 was raised thanks to the 5,000 people who attended the Y 2023 event at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal! This year, we’re aiming even higher! See you at the Bell Centre for Canada’s largest personal development event!
International guest speakers will share their perspectives and experiences on the subject, adding a global and enriching dimension to the event.

We need to take the time to reflect collectively on our lives and our goals, because courage and responsibility are essential. It’s time to deal with the pain, helplessness, confusion and distress of our times. That’s why we created The International Day of Courage and Individual Responsibility, launched at the Y EVENT 2023, to promote the principles of personal development and progress individually and collectively.
Donations collected during the Y EVENT 2023 at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal are used by schools for initiatives aimed at developing courage and individual responsibility in young people.

It's a day created by Psycom to celebrate 2 values that deserve to be put forward in our modern societies: courage and individual responsibility. Courage is the disposition that enables us to move towards the truth while facing up to that which terrorizes us. Responsibility is the willingness to shoulder burdens and move forward. Together, courage and responsibility produce much-needed strength and meaning. The Y Event is an opportunity to celebrate this day in a learning context, where many themes relating to the psychological mechanisms underlying courage and responsibility are addressed and discussed among stakeholders.

Humorist | Singer | Actor
For over 30 years, multi-talented Quebec artist Anthony Kavanagh has been performing as a comedian, actor and singer for French-speaking audiences around the world. A true showman in the vein of versatile artists such as Will Smith, Jamie Foxx and Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) – who also started out in comedy – Anthony now aspires to broaden his horizons.

Anthony has often lent his voice to the heroes of successful animated films (Disney and Dreamworks), such as Mulan, Happy Feet (1 and 2), The Princess and the Frog, Madagascar (1, 2 ,3), Vaiana, and more recently Aladdin, in which he brings the genie of the lamp to life. In France, he is one of the top 25 comedians of the last 50 years, according to an IFOP survey. The book, which is also available in paperback and audiobook formats, is a guide to the mechanisms of communication and human relations, shedding new light on the meaning of relationships and interpersonal communication.
In 2023, Guillaume Dulude founded the International Day of Courage and Individual Responsibility. For the occasion, he organizes and hosts the first Y Event at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. Some 5,000 people attend this large-scale conference, which teaches psychological strategies for, among other things, overcoming stagnation, making the right decisions, moving forward to the next chapter of one’s life and finding meaning in it. With the proceeds from ticket sales, Guillaume raises over $100,000, which he donates to three Quebec high schools to encourage young people to pursue their quest for meaning through individual responsibility.
